對設計而言，更重要的從來不是預算多寡，而是在有限的條件裡，看見生活真正需要的是什麼。本案回應的是多數人真實面對的居住狀態：有限的坪數、有限的預算，以及希望兼顧美感與實用的期待。因此，設計上選擇用簡單而直覺的方式取代裝飾，回到居住本身。
In design, the most critical factor is never the size of the budget, but the ability to discern the true essentials of life within given constraints. This project addresses the reality of modern living: limited square footage, a modest budget, and the desire for both aesthetics and functionality. Consequently, we chose to replace elaborate decoration with simple, intuitive design, returning the focus to the essence of dwelling.

從踏進家門的那一刻開始，設計便圍繞著日常展開：玄關需要有順手放置隨身物品的位置，也需要為每天出門遛狗預留一個自然的掛放角落；一反制式直立電器櫃的形式，將其融入水平延展的餐桌背櫃之中，讓客廳與餐廳之間保有更開闊、連續的感受。比起增加更多元素，我們更在意的是，哪些東西真正會被使用、哪些感受真正會留在生活裡。沿著牆面延伸的平台，不只是放置物品的地方，也承載著照片、書籍與日常小物，讓家的溫度在生活裡慢慢累積。於是，就連午後灑落在地板上的光，也成為人願意停下來、待在家裡的理由。
From the moment one steps inside, the design unfolds around the rhythms of daily life: an entryway designed for shedding the day’s belongings, with a dedicated nook for dog-walking essentials. Moving inward, we eschewed the conventional vertical appliance cabinet, integrating it instead into a horizontal sideboard that extends behind the dining table. This creates a seamless, airy connection between the living and dining areas. Rather than adding more elements, we focused on what is truly used and what feelings truly linger. The ledge along the wall is more than a shelf; it is a canvas for photos, books, and keepsakes, allowing the warmth of home to accumulate over time. In this space, even the afternoon light pooling on the floor becomes a reason to linger and stay.

Rather than striving for formal perfection, we prioritize a space’s ability to respond naturally to life over time. Our goal is for inhabitants to feel a sense of ease and belonging in the ebb and flow of daily rituals—ensuring that the house doesn’t just contain life, but truly becomes a part of it.
比起追求形式上的完整，我們更在意空間是否能在長久的使用中，持續自然地回應生活，讓人在日復一日的相處裡，依然感到舒服、自在，也讓家真正成為生活的一部分。
